Two Days of Christmas Fun
I suppose it's about time I fill you all in on our Christmas holiday. We had two busy days, but they were filled with fun and laughter...and lots and lots of presents. We started out Christmas Eve at my parents house and once again the kids were spoiled like crazy! I think mom and dad just have so much fun picking out toys still. And of course my dad loves that he can shop in the "boy" isles now...no more barbies for him!!
Sammy got a Hot Wheels case for all his cars. It holds 100 cars and Im guessing its just about full. He takes his cars very seriously!!
Annabelle was really excited because she got the Hannah Montana doll she wanted .
And of course Barbie can never have to many clothes. Both girls got 3 packs of clothes for thier dolls.
We got a little spoiled too and so did baby girl. Mom bought us over 800 diapers and wipes to help us get started when the baby is born. That's a lot of poopy diapers...ewwwww!
After all the gifts were opened and our bellies were full we decided to put on a concert....sort of. My dad got Rock Band for the Wii so of course we had to test it out. Andy was the "lead" singer and the kids played the drums.
It was a lot of fun, but it's a good thing there is no sound to these pictures...YIKES!! We still need to practice, practice, practice!!
After we left my parents, we headed to Grandma Cameron's house for dinner...and more presents. This year all the great grandkids were there...and there are a lot of them with two more on the way. Grandma looks so happy in this picture surrounded by all her grandkids. She loves them all so much and they love her!!
Grandma bought the girls winter coats for their American Girl dolls and Sammy got a crazy remote control car. They also each got a gift from a cousin.
Before we left I gave them their new Christmas jammies. This year the girls got High School Musical and Sammy got "Cars"...of course!! Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without new jammies!!
We got home pretty late Christmas Eve night, but luckily Santa was willing to wait till the kiddy's were sound asleep before he stopped in. Here is what the tree looked like after his visit. Looks like he left some pretty nice gifts.
The kids didn't get up until about 8 am which was fine by us :) Here they are checking out their new toys from Santa. Both girls got a new horse for their dolls which Santa lovingly put on the horses so they could play with them right away. Sammy got a cool remote control car. Daddy sure had fun showing him how to use it. I'm still not sure if Sammy has actually gotten to play with it yet...LOL!
They also got new stockings from Santa this year and they were filled with all kinds of goodies.
Once all the gifts were opened we had our yummy Christmas breakfast. I made a delicious spinach egg bake. We got the recipe from Hannah and it's Andy's all time favorite!! I made cinnamon rolls for the kids too. Our house smelled soooo good!! After we finished eating and got around we headed over to my aunt's house for Christmas with my Grandma Myer's. She made the kids each a pair of jammies which they just love. Her gifts are so special.
Our last party was at Andy's parents house and once again we all got spoiled!! Uncle Joey got Sammy the "Hulk" gloves. He loves them...and so does daddy!!Uncle Joey got the girls a closet to hold all the girls' American Girl doll clothes, and Aunt Haley got them more clothes just to make sure it was filled up!They also got some very nice gifts from Grandma and Grandpa. Annabelle got a nice art set and Alivia got a Hannah Montana guitar and keyboard. She loves to sing, but still has a bit of stage fright...so as long as she doesn't know we are listening she will sing her little heart out!
I had to throw in this last picture so you could all see my belly...yikes!! I'm pretty sure the camera has added a few pounds...or maybe it was all the goodies I ate!!
All in all, we had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was great to spend time with our family and friends and sharing in my children's excitement will never grow old!

So Glad you guys had a wonderful Christmas. We have Hulk Hands in our house now too! And, as in yours, they're just as popular with Daddy as they are with the little man. LOL! Have a great new year!
Looks like you had a wondeful Christmas! I loved the photo of all the kids, it was just precious.
