Wow! What a great end to a great summer! Saturday we went up to Higgins where mom and dad were staying. Julie, Ryan, Ethan, Allie and Grandma Myers also went. We celebrated Ethan's 3rd b-day since we weren't able to do it the weekend before. It was really nice and relaxing. The kids love playing together. Grandpa took them all down to the lake to swim for awhile. They had so much fun. After dinner, we headed up to the Bovee Cabin. Sammy only lasted about 5 minutes after we left (which was just fine by me). Alivia also fell alseep before we got to the bridge. But Annabelle woke her up so she could see it. It was 9 at night so we couldn't see the lake or anything. Just afer we crossed Annabelle asked if we were still in Michigan...LOL! Then the "are we there yet's" started! Annabelle said she was going to count to 10 and then we better be at the cabin! We finally got there around 10pm and sat around the non-existant campfire for a few hours. Finally we made our way to bed. The next morning we got up and made breakfast. Haley, Jason, Ariana, and their friends were also there. But they all left for Drummond Island after breakfast. Grandpa Mike was there too, so after they left, the rest of us went for a ride through the UP trails. We stopped at a few rivers looking for fish, but they were non-existant too! It was still fun though. We really didn't do much, but it was so nice to not have to do anything except relax. It was much needed!!!! I think Mike really enjoyed having the grandkids all to himself too. He doesn't get that very often. The kids loved it too.

Here are a few pics from this weekend....

These pics are from Higgins. Ethan eating his cake, Allie being adorable as always, Annabelle relaxing in grandpa lenn's chair, and Alivia and Grandma Myers just before we left.

These pictures are taken at the Bovee Cabin: Grandpa w/the grandkids, Haley and Ariana, Annabelle shooting her pink gun, and Sammy and Alivia hammin' it up!

We had so much fun the whole weekend. The kids were great and we can't wait to do it again!
