Halloween Extravaganza!!
We had a great Halloween this year! First, we went "Trunk-or-Treating" at church on Wednesday night. Here they are with their friends. There are 4 Hannah Montanas, one dirt bike rider and one lil hunter. They look like they are ready for a good time!
And of course they all had a blast! There were all kinds of games for them to play. One of the games was 'bobbing for apples' and much to my surprise all three of them tried it!! Sammy got a little help from Nettie, but he kept at it until he got his apple.

At the end of the night all the kids headed outside to go collect their goodies. When we were done, Sammy shook his bag and yelled. "I'm the winner!!!" He just cracks me up!

Last night, on Halloween, we started the night out at Grandma Jill's and Grandpa Lenn's. Grandma made hamburgers with cheesy pumpkin faces on them (we were to hunger to even think about taking a picture though...sorry) but they were really cute...and delicious!
In case you didn't notice we are missing one Hannah Montana. Annabelle lost her wig at school so we scrambled around last minute and came up with a Desperate Housewife or a.k.a "Mom" She borrowed Grandma's robe and slippers and I put some curlers in her hair and of course she has her jammies on and her cup of coffee.
After we left there we made our rounds visiting lots of friends and family. This is Alex and Ramey's house. Their doggy Gus was so excited to see the kids...or maybe he was just trying to get all the yummy candy!
Our last stop of the night was Grandma Teresa's. Grandpa wasn't there this year because he went to the UP. He would've loved to see Sammy in his hunting get up...which by the way was the outfit that Andy wore when he shot his first deer...many, many years ago!! Of course we had to role the sleeves and pant legs up quite a bit to make it fit Sammy.
And here we all are at the end of the night. It was such a beautiful night for trick-or-treating. We had a really great time and the kids collected soooo much candy!
Can you say "Sugar overload"? This picture does not really do justice...this bowl is HUGE and overflowing with candy! If my kids seem a little hyper the next time you see them you will know why!!
